CONTACT MEAre you willing to travel & what is the cost?
A.Absolutely! Please send me an inquiry through my contact page with your desired photo package, location and timeframe. Traveling fees vary for different locations so please let me know what package you are interested in and we'll go from there.
What's included with my session?
A.Every client will receive an online gallery where you will be able to download your images in both high resolution for printing and web size for social media sharing. You will also receive a print release (to print the images wherever you'd like) and you'll gain access to my hand-picked professional print lab where you can order a variety of high quality prints. A description of what differs between each photography session option is outlined on the "Investment" page on my website. If you have any other questions, or specific requests, please contact me!
Do I have to order prints through you?
A.No, but I will always recommend my print lab over Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Shutterfly, and even Costco! Those companies still do a good job for their prices, but a professional print lab will deliver much higher quality prints and will stay true to the original image tones and colors.
The print lab that receives all of the orders placed on my client website is White House Custom Color (WHCC), based out of Minnesota. They have been in the business of serving professional photographers since 1977. WHCC is a family owned and operated business that delivers quality prints that places like Shutterfly, Walmart, etc. can't beat.
In the end, it all comes down to your personal preference. I will provide you with the highest quality digital images for you to decide where to order your prints.
Do you edit all of my photos?
A.Yes! When editing your images I focus on correcting lighting, image tones, and anything "distracting" that pulls the attention away from you.
My editing program of choice is Adobe Lightroom, and I occasionally use Photoshop.
What kind of gear do you use?
A.I have a Nikon D850 Full Frame DSLR camera body that I pair with a variety of lenses. My personal favorite though is my Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G prime lens.
Do you allow pets?
A.A thousand times, YES. Dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, you name it. My only requirement is that your pet(s) are well behaved and listen well to their handler.
Most of the sessions I book are out in the desert or in a public setting. If you are not confident that you can control your pet in these types of environments then I would not recommend bringing them. Safety always comes first, even over cuteness!
If more than one pet is taking part in your session I ask that you bring an additional handler with you to help safely watch over your pets throughout the session.
PLEASE BRING: Leashes, collars, crates/kennels (if applicable), food/treats, water, a favorite toy or two (to help me get their attention during photos) and a spare towel in case they get wet/dirty while out and about.
Can you help with styling & posing?
A.Yes I can! For me to get a better idea of what would be best for your session please send me any inspiration photos you have. I will do my best to recommend color schemes for your outfit(s) and when the day comes, I will walk you through different poses for each photo.
Can you recommend a location for my session?
A.Yes! I've booked sessions all around the valley and keep a list of them for my future clients. Let me know what you have in mind and where you're willing to travel and I'll put together some options for you.
Do you have props we can use for my session?
A.I am pretty limited on props but I am open to expanding. If you have a specific prop in mind (like a vintage suitcase or a unique chair or a sign) then give me all of your creative ideas and I'll see what we can do. If I do happen to have what you are wanting to incorporate into your session then we definitely can use it.
Can you accommodate an indoor/studio session?
A.Sometimes! There are a ton of different indoor studios that allow me to rent the space by the hour so that is always an option as long as we have ample time to book the studio you are wanting. Any fees to rent a studio will be discussed before entering into contract with me and will be added to your invoice once finalized.
Can you accommodate a destination wedding?
A.Absolutely! Please reach out to me with the details on when and where your wedding is taking place as well as the Wedding Package you are interested in and we will discuss any additional travel/accommodation fees and specifics.
Can I add a second shooter?
A.Yes! If the wedding consists of 100+ people and is over 6 hours long, a second shooter is beneficial to get photos of the guests and any other candid shots throughout the ceremony and reception. I would remain as the primary photographer and would focus on the wedding party and immediate family.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
A.Of course! Before I leave for the evening I will ask you if there is anything else you need or want and that is your chance to ask. I am more than happy to stay longer so we can spontaneously add to your session the day of to ensure we get everything you want before the night is over. This will be covered in my detailed Pricing Guide that you will receive after you've submitted an inquiry.
Can I schedule a consultation with you?
A.Absolutely! I offer a complimentary 45-minute consultation (virtual or in-person) when you inquire about my wedding packages.
